LUV PDX is about connection, participation, and pride in the place we call home.
Portland has always had a strong DIY streak, for sure. It’s the kind of city where people start bands, build businesses, throw events, make art, launch weird ideas, and figure things out together.
We love that spirit.
We believe Portland is shaped by the people who show up for it: the everyday folks who care about this place and each other.
LUV PDX isn’t about waiting for someone else to tell us what Portland is or isn’t. It’s a reminder that Portland is what we make it.

LUV PDX was started by a couple of Portlanders who’ve spent decades participating in the city’s music, arts, maker, festival, and small business communities.
We love the parts of Portland where people show up for one another: basement shows, sing-alongs, art builds, park hangs, and spontaneous collaborations that somehow turn into real things.
We believe cities become better when people participate in them. LUV PDX is our small way of celebrating (and encouraging) that spirit.
